I didn’t grow up liking the color pink. For some strange reason, I had associated this particular color with vocabulary such as “weak” “girly” “cute” - words registered in my brain as “TNM” (TOTALLY NOT ME)!
My appetite for the color pink started to grow when this baby girl came into my life —>
Annya gravitates toward everything pink ever since she’s just a few months old. Her behavior revolutionized the value I placed on pink. I begin to “see” pink differently.
3 things I’ve learned from this journey of my growing affinity toward pink:
First of all, what I used to care less has now picked up new meaning in my life. In this case, all things in pink!
Secondly, I only care because of the person or object that holds an endearing relationship with me on a personal level. In this pinkalicious world, my daughter Annya holds the key.
Thirdly, I learned to appreciate pink color objects through a change of heart - a perspective shift. Hence we introduce an all-pink sunglasses with interchangeable temples to our collections. Am I inspired? You bet!! Check it out here.
I guess I've now been officially pinkified. Thanks for stopping by today :-)
